More than a Name, a Myth, a Perfume.
During a trip to the Far East, Marie Lise Bischoff listened an Arab tale and she was charmed of an heroine, Nejma, a creature of radiant charm and elusive beauty, which inspired her to create a completely new line of perfumes. Captured by privateers and sold on the slave market, Nejma was chosen among the other magnificent captives by the Vizir for her intoxicating beauty, her spontaneous gentleness and the bewitching perfume of her body. Nejma and Vizir had seven daughters and they all were splendid. To immortalise their mother, each of them try to recreate her mother's perfume. Thus seven fragrances have been created, each blending different ingredients but always with oud that adds its precious, warm and oriental charm.

The world of Nejma is made up of mysterious scents from far lands combined with an oud, giving the seven fragrances in the range their character and creating new olfactory symphonies with jasmins from Arabia (Sambac) or Egypt, ylang ylang, Ottoman rose, Mysore sandalwood, vetiver. 4 offers all the freshness of a floral note, thanks to essences of Ylang Ylang and Bourbon Geranium and fruity by the Italian Bergamot orange and vineyard peaches. Its heart is a smooth symphony of Egyptian jasmine, Wild Narcissus and Roses of Ottoman who stretches slowly to a woodier touch, where the Oak moss and the Resin of Cistus revolve majestically around the Aoud wood.
