Antoine Soradora was born in 1902 in the heat of southern Portugal where his parents lived their lives in the exploitation of the land. From his childhood, he felt a particular enthusiasm for the smells that surrounded his daily life and the perfumes.
It was 1920 and although his father had taught him to love the land, at the age of 18, Antoine Sora Dora was faced with a dilemma : to follow this path or to follow his passion. He finally decided to leave his hometown and settle in the Bouches-Durhône, in a smell village called Greasque where he was welcomed by a french family who offered him a modest hut at the bottom of their garden. A virgin land that he transformed into a small paradise as a sign of his gratitude.
During his free time, Antoine Soradora will go to discover the region where he will meet Etienne, a jasmine grower whom he admires at first sight and natural complicity is born from their common passion for plants. They decided to work together in the field of jasmine and then to use their knowledge, their sensitivity and their experience of perfumes. Thanks to two men were free to order all the raw materials necessary for their work.
When his friend Etienne died, Antoine put his creativity at the service of perfumery and created his first perfume. Some time later, he met his wife, with whom he has three daughters, to whom he passed on all his experience, his wisdom and his high standards.
Today, SORADORA is a prestigious brand of high perfumery for 4 generations.
